Characters and Weapons

Characters

Lucas (Luke) Speller

Luke is the newest recruit of the Guardians, and wields the most powerful weapon in the Guardian's arsenal, the Dream Weaver. He has found himself playing catch-up to his friends and teammates Elaine and Max, but quickly settles in as a member of the team. Quick-witted, cunning, and a little hot-headed, Luke will find that the Dream Weaver will forever change his world, as the awakening of his weapon marks the beginning of a storm that will test the Guardians to the fullest.

Max Keegan

Max is the most experienced of the elite Guardians, and is the de facto leader of the trio, though he soon passes that title on. A member of his school's swimming and wrestling teams, Max is strong and tough as nails, and uses the Dream Crusher to maximum efficency on both offense and defense. Friendly and loyal, Max knows a number of the other Guardians, and often helps them or calls them in for assistance, a fact that will come in handy soon enough.

Elaine Clark

Elaine is the oldest of the three, and plays the role of support of Luke and Max. Hailing from a well to do English family, she minds her manners well and plays the part of the lady for everyone except her teammates, who see her as another one of the guys. Warm, kind-hearted, and cool-headed, she often has to bail out the others, be it trouble at school or a in a fight against a dream creature. In battle, she becomes a cold, calculating, and harder version of herself, wielding the Dream Seeker with deadly accuracy.

Dream Master

One of the members of the Council, the Dream Master is the leader of the Guardians, training new recruits and providing information and missions to the fighters. The Dream Master, like the rest of the Council, is as old as mankind, the orginal Guardian, and is the last line of defense between the two realms and total destruction.

Weapons

Dream Weaver

One of the oldest weapons on record, the Dream Weaver has seen its fair share of battles against dream creatures and humans alike. Often finding its way into the hands of the descendents of the Speller family, it is rumored that the legend of Excalibur is based on this sword. Though it does not see as much time in battle in recent centuries, it and it's wielders still remain some of the strongest fighters in history.

Dream Crusher

Originally a tower shield, the Dream Crusher has since shrunk in size to accommidate the needs and abilities of its users, like many of the other weapons. In this case it is now slightly larger Max's forearm and just as wide, featuring blades around the edges for offense.

Dream Seeker

One of a few bows in the arsenal, the Dream Seeker was originally a long bow, but now has a modern form of a compound bow. It is capable of firing arrows as well as energy blasts, and the arms can sharpen and act as a close range weapon.
